Dimethoate is broad-spectrum systemic insecticide that is able to enter the sap stream of plants - where it is transported to actively growing parts. This makes it particularly effective against sucking insect pests such as aphids. Also very useful fruit fly control for many fruit and vegetable crops. Dimethoate will not control OP resistant pests.
